In the 90s, when there was no Internet and we recognized football by newspapers and pennants, I started collecting everything that had at least some connection with the game: programs, clippings, stickers. As I grew older, my collections grew bigger - I had mugs (120 pieces, before the first hint of dust allergy), badges (2000 unique ones - and that's just the clubs), but eventually I realized I wanted something simpler.
That's how stickers appeared. Or rather, their photos. I'm traveling, I see a football sticker on the wall - click, save, move on. Everything I've collected is part of my digital collection, which doesn't need to be vacuumed or looked for a place on a shelf.
And so, to avoid admiring it all alone, I made an online game. It's simple: if you see a sticker, guess which club it belongs to. Nothing more, just a love of football and a bit of excitement.
I also post new stickers every day on Twitter: @StickerHunting. Check it out, maybe you'll recognize your club.
